The Department of Electrical Engineering is led by the Head of Department, Hj. Mohd Dasri bin Che Mok @ Adnan, and supported by three Heads of Programme: Pn. Nor Hafizah Bt. Che Hassan (DTK), Pn. Norazlinawati Bt. Mat Yaacob (DEP), and En. Mohd Anuar Bin Mohd Bunyami (Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering). The department consists of 50 academic staff and 3 support personnel.
The department offers three main academic programmes:

i. Diploma in Electronics Engineering (Computer)
ii. Diploma in Electronics Engineering (Communication)
iii. Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering

All programmes are fully accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC), ensuring that the curriculum and training provided meet both national and international standards in engineering technology education. The department is committed to producing competent graduates who possess the knowledge, technical skills, and professionalism required to excel in the ever-evolving engineering industry.

To realize this vision, the department upholds four Programme Educational Outcomes (PEOs) and eleven Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs). These outcomes are designed to ensure that graduates are capable, innovative, and industry-ready, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to national development and global progress.
